Godari Gattupaina Movie Review & Rating!

Sumanth Prabhas, who impressed with Mem Famous, returns with Godari Gattupaina. Directed by Subhash Chandra, this romantic entertainer stars Nidhi Pradeep, with Jagapathi Babu and Laila in key roles. Released on Friday, the film gained attention through unique promotions. But does it give Sumanth another hit? Let’s have a look….

Godari Gattupaina Story: Raju, a 10th-pass auto driver, falls in love with Maya, an engineering topper. She also likes him, but her strict father separates them because of caste and status.

What happens next? Do they reunite, and does her father accept their love? That forms the rest of the story.

Performances: Sumanth Prabhas impresses as an auto driver with a natural and simple performance, avoiding over-the-top heroism. He also tries hard to speak in the Godavari slang. Nidhi Pradeep fits well as the heroine with a neat, minimal look.

Jagapathi Babu is solid as the caring father. Laila’s role lacks proper importance. Sudarshan’s comedy works in parts, while others don’t stand out much. Supporting actors like Rajeev Kanakala and Harshavardhan perform decently.

Technical Aspects: Naga Vamsi Krishna’s background score and songs remind you of many past hit films. The Prabhas references are used well. Even though the movie is less than two and a half hours, it still feels a bit lengthy.

Production values are decent. Cinematographer Sai Santosh beautifully captures the scenic beauty of the Godavari regions on screen.
